Such a beautiful quiet morning in the salt marshes, some of the American White Ibis are quietly eating while others are off to ride the wings of the morning. My painting reminds me of this verse in Psalms 139:9-10:
If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the furthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. My inspiration for my painting was to capture the beauty of the salt marshes, when we took a stroll on Pinckney National Wildlife Refuge vacationing at Hilton Head Island. This painting was selected in The 9th Edition “Brush Off” International Juried Painting Competition Finalist.
