Strawberry Hedgehog Cactus, has a vibrant strawberry bloom. The colors in the photo made me want to paint this beauty. The needles of the cacti was what brought the cactus to life, each needle is different in size and adds drama to the painting. The photo for this inspired oil painting was taken by my daughter somewhere in Utah.
